A huge thank you to all of our 2008 exhibitors – all of the stands looked amazing and feedback from guests was that they really enjoyed the opportunity to really talk to suppliers about different options without the sales pressure experienced at other wedding fair events.  We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to be considered as an exhibitor for the 2009 show….

PapaKata

“A wedding in a beautiful outdoor setting is a dream come true for many brides and grooms, but finding a suitable structure for all the dining and dancing can be tricky. Many wedding tents tread the fine line between tasteful and tacky rather precariously, but I love these unusual versions from PapaKata.

The company specialises in hiring out Kata tents, which are the tipi style tents of the Sami people of Lapland (in case you didn’t know!). Most importantly for us, though, they look extremely grand and impressive and fit sympathetically with a natural backdrop, too.”

Organic Holidays

The book and the website has a large selection of organic places to stay. Many offer meals or have their own small restaurant, a few of which are certified organic and others may have a certified organic kitchen garden, orchard or vineyard. Meals are prepared using local organic produce and a number of places grow their own produce. Most aim to use fresh local produce rather than imported food. Other places are self-catering on organic farms or smallholdings. At these places you’ll find information about the availability of organic food in the local area.

Linda Moss of organic hlidays cannot make the event but has donated some books as a prize for the lovely green raffle.
